Before refurbishment, structural alterations or demolition, a standard management survey is not enough.

A refurbishment and demolition asbestos survey is more intrusive. It is designed to locate asbestos hidden within the areas that will be disturbed by the planned works. This may involve accessing behind walls, ceilings, floors, ducts, boxing, risers and other concealed areas.

This type of survey must be completed before the work starts, so that asbestos can be identified and managed safely.
